Reportedly in a meeting about trying to get support for the Patriot Act renewal, an aide said that portions of the act were very distasteful, even to the right wing supporters, and parts were unconstitutional. Bush is reported to said, "Don't bring up the Constitution, I am tired of the Constitution, it is just a god damm piece of paper."

True? Can this be verified? (Verification that Bush said this, not that the Constitution is just a piece of god damm paper when neo-cons are in office).

No but I bet if you keep repeating it over and over it will become an accusation as commonplace as "Bush snorts coke", "Cheney makes all the decisions", "Bush plotted 9-11", and "Bush went to war for oil profits"

While I'm not going to completely disagree with your basic premise here, this is really just a strawman tactic to delegitimize any attack on Bush whatsoever.

All I am asking is it factual. Not your opinion, not what you think, but is it a fact?

Has the White House denied it? Has any one been questioned about it? Has any one stepped forward and said, "Yes, I heard it with my own ears"?

Or have we become so far gone that an accusation like this is just ignored with a shrug of the shoulders like what else is new, or defended with the typical knee jerk response from those who could watch Bush bite the heads off live bats and come up with a rationalization for it?
