seat 6 with 1320.
Hero is at seat 7 with 12215.
Villain is at seat 8 with 8435.
seat 9 with 6350.

Blinds 150/300

Pre-flop:

3 folds, limp, 3 folds, I call on the button, Villain completes, BB checks.

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Pot=1200)

Villain bets 800. 2 folds. I call.

Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Pot=2800)

Villain bets 600. Hero raises to 2300. Villain calls.

River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Pot=7400)

Villain instantly goes all-in for 5035.

Thoughts?

he bet 800 on the flop
then 600 on the turn

personally i think he was slowplaying JJ and afraid you had a queen on the river, of course if you had a queen you would instantly call this, however he may not be thinking that.

but yea, I fold.

Interesting, as I think that you would think this is a clear fold. Maybe I'm missing something, but this hand looks toxic to me.

That second 7 really killed you. He plays the hand exactly as someone holding Qx... I fold.

its of course likely he would play 1010 this way and simply hope to bluff you out of the pot.

i think he figures you for a flush draw, a Q/x hand would probably push the turn hoping not to get called by a higher heart..

maybe im wrong though

Unfortunately, it's a fold.

Almost any hand he has at this point beats you.

I think the turn is much more interesting than the river, but no one is commenting on that...
