Bodog - How the hell do how you clear the bonus there?
 

It took me forever to find the info on the bonus, I dont feel like spending 3 hours looking for the info on how to clear it - Can someone tell me where I look/how it is done ?

You must earn 6 Bodog Points for each $1 in bonus money

I ended up calling their CS, it is a 6 X play through but this ius what confuses me - I only deposited $200. I have played one hand to the flop... which was a $100 pot... In the lobby it shows I have 50 points and the number is not going up.

By the wya, when I said I found it... I clicked "open an account" and it said 20% deposit bonus ... blah blah blah. Didn't say mucha bout the terms of that bonus just convinced you to deposit through EFT

if you log off and then log back in you'll see your points. sometimes my points update in near real time, sometimes it takes a while.

the poker WR may have changed recently to 3x points (formerly 6x points). you get 50 points just for signing up and then you are "supposed" to earn 3 points for each bonus dollar you receive. I say "supposed" because I found that I've been able to withdraw early on multiple occasions just so long as I played like an hour or so before requesting. I'm not saying it works for certain but it's definitely worth trying (the worst they can say is no).

Figure 3 points per dollar so 33 cents per point, but you will probably enter the pot only 1/4 to 1/3 of the time so overall it's about 8-11 cents per hand (assuming you have to fulfill the entire WR before yanking it out). this is certainly better than what is used to be, but even now it's only about as good as UB (which isn't very).

at least the bodog software is excellent and the players are pretty fishy in my experience. nearly impossible to NOT make money there in the long run.

now...i'm not sure if the tournament points rate is still 6 per dollar like the old system, but now with the new 3x bonus system, you are getting a *200%* cash rebate on your tourney fees. previously, only Poker Stars gave even 100% on SNG/MTT action, and reloads there are pretty rare. could be an interesting development should they keep the structure unchanged.

CS said 6 X play through (WR) tonight when I called...

If some of these sites like BoDog ... or the site using the same software everyone thought was Dutch Boyd's new rake free gave great bonuses I think Party would lose some of the momentum they have.

The CEO's of these companys are not the type of people that thing long term though, which is why we are where we are...

I only bring that up cause after a couple stabs tonight I found out these games are INCREDIBLY beatable at BODOG (not as bad as party) I had a $25 pot I bet $16 into, someone called my bluff down with K high [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] That was one of the better moments of the game, unfortunately he left about an hour later and the game straightened out..

I agree that the players there are very fishy which means that there are a lot of suckouts. I know from experience that it is 6 points per bonus dollar.

I'm still a little confused...

...Can someone give me a rough estimate that if I deposited 500 bucks for a 100 dollar bonus, how many hands would take to clear.

Limit would be 2/4, LHE
