I am assuming this is some kind of scam, but I don't know what it is? Does he ask for your username and password?

Doesn't have to be a scam. Occationally we have people who have dreamed up plans of making a lot of money staking great players. What they fail to realize is a) very few great players need to be staked and b) it is very easy to get screwed if you give strangers money on the internet.
