Limping A4s in early position

A friend of mine claims that is it profitable to limp A4s (or any A9-2s)in early position in a normal ten handed NL game (He plays 5/10NL on PP).

I think it isn't.

Who is right?

you are right. your friend is probably just getting lucky with those hands. either that or he plays those types of hands so well that they really are profitable to him. does he limp and call a raise w/ those hands?

As it says in the overview. "Limping A4s in early position......Dont_Do_It".

Seriously though, if the table is loose and passive I'd limp Axs up front too.
