30/60 yearly income

So youre one of the better 30/60 multitablers on this entire forum. You 8 table 30/60, 40 hrs a week, for a year, making about one big bet an hour on average.

60 times 8 times 40 x 52 = ..........

$$960,000 a year!!

These very good multitabling players are making nearly a cool million a year, playing 30/60!?!?

Sounds a little too fantastic (excuse the pun) for me!

Is this really possible? Well, of course, it's possible. But honestly, how many two plus twoers are making a million a year at 30/60?

I guess if youre making 1/2 a big bet an hour, it sounds a little more realistic (i.e. believable). But if anyone is making a million a year at 30/60 (i wont even think about figuring out how much the 12/16 tablers are making, it cannot be more than say, .0001% of everyone playing in that game. I'd say no more than 10 people on the high stakes forum are making that kind of money (could be wrong- hope i am). It just seems impossible that this could be the 'average' wage for a good to very good 8 tabling 30/60 player.

Thoughts?

Who on here has ever talked actual dollars per year earned?

What's your point?

Taxes are a bitch, but if you're able to pull down 1.5BB/100 at 30/60 this is fairly reasonable as pretax income for a talented full-time pro. The games are that good. However, I don't know if you've tried, but 8-tabling 40 hours a week is harder than it sounds. I certainly don't do it.

Edit: "Very good 8-tabling 30/60 pro" is a much more narrow category than you might imagine.

how many tblxhrs would you say you average a week?

obviously 8x40=3200 is too high. 1600?

is there anyone on this forum who consistently eight tables 30/60 succesffully let alone 40 hours a week?

also do many even play eight tables? it seems like that would get really confusing and i'd probably end up folding aces and raising 72 accidently heh

I would rather die than 8 table 40 hours a week for all 52 weeks in year.

I doubt anyone does this at any stakes.

People try to make money at poker because they hate working. 40 hours a week every week of the year eight tables at a time is WORK like no other.
