Big game at Bellagio (Not Beal\'s game)

Everytime I read something about the regular big mixed game at Bellagio, the cast of characters always seems to be the same. Brunson Sr. and Jr., Hansen, Ivy, Chau Giang, Chan, Negraneau, Ezra, Reese, Greenstein, etc...

Here is my question. These players are all represented to be great winning cash game players. But they always seem to be playing each other only. Someone has to lose. They can't all be winners in this game. So my question is who really gets the better of this game, and who really loses?

Any thoughts?

The regulars could all be winners if enough tourists sit in and take a shot.

Yes, it's been said here and other places that there are some big fish...

I saw the big game on Saturday when I was at the Bellagio, it was a $2000/4000 mixed game. The only players I recognized were Gus Hansen, Barry Greenstein, Jennifer Harmon, and Sammy Farha. I doubt it is the same lineup all the time.

As usual all the dealers hated the big game because they said they never get toked.

I thought I saw something about those guys paying a flat rate to play...could be wrong.

it's very small; like $10 per half hour, as i remember it.

You are correct it is $10/half hour someone at my table asked one of the dealers about it. The dealer seemd also very happy to mention that the big game was not in his rotation.

What does that have to do with tipping the dealer?

77 hours is almost meaningless, but good for daniel, I wonder what his hourly would be like after 500 hours....

They play with 1 dollar chips, so tipping the dealer would be equivalent to tossing away 4000....I'm not surprised they don't tip
