Reraise the turn?

BB is Loose-passive, MP1 just sat down last orbit.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, MP1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, BB calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises</font>...

looks to me like BB is on a flush draw. Do you reraise the turn to punish him?
What do we think MP1 has?
If we think MP1 can beat TT, do we just call, hoping to spike a T but possibly giving a profitable call to the BB?
If you reraise, bb folds and mp1 caps then what?

Overthinking this?

You can't make him fold a flush draw, so I wouldn't worry about that. He'll be getting odds to call anyway. I'd call this one down most likely.

I would just call it down. (if a T falls on the river itīs of course another story. He can be on a draw but the check raise on the turn points more in the direction of set or two-pair

Re: Reraise the turn?

It's tough to say for certain what MP1 has in this hand, but my guess would be that he is either semi-bluff checkraising you with a flush draw or the 8 made him a big hand like a set of 8s or two pair with 89.

If he made a big hand though, betting out would be the right move for him here because you reraised him on the flop, so you're not likely to fold for a single bet while a check-raise might make you stop and think about folding.

And BB looks like he's definitely drawing to either a flush or possibly an inside straight, so I would re-raise here and check-call the river unless a heart fell and BB suddenly woke up.

But I do play a bit loose.
