was i right to fold???

firstly sorry i didnt get the hand for this but heres how it went,

50nl 6 max all evenly stacked around £60-70ish

i had AKs first to act, i raised to 2, 2 folds 1 call 2 folds,

the caller was new to the table and i had no stats on him,
flop 5, 6, k none suited and none my suit

villain bet 3, i raised to 7 villain went all in for 58, i had about 68, i folded,...

was this the right play??
i wasnt sure of his style of play and thought there will be more opportunities, not worth risking my stack??

comments??

I would've folded. If he's doing this with something that you do beat, you can get his money later. This feels like a set to me.

I fold this. You told villain you had a king and he didn't care. Either he had you and you got off cheap or he is a maniac which will become apparent soon enough and you will get another shot to stack. I am very leery of throwing my stack in on the flop with TPTK.

I might have just called on the flop, but at least you found out you were beat immediately. If you weren't beat and he pulls this over and over again, then you found out villain is a donkey.
