Betting about half the pot on the river is so much better that what you did.

Re: Big pot ...100NL

i'd pot the turn and the river.

.edit missed the pf action.

i'm potting the turn and 1/2 potting the river.

i would say make a river blocking bet, but my [censored] wouldnt fold to a raise.

Re: Big pot ...100NL

bet more on flop.
bet more on turn.
shouldn't have to bet so much on river.

On a side note, I've seen you a lot recently at the NL100 6max on fulltilt. (mostly with a deep stack). respect.

I understand the idea on the flop is to be raised, but that's too small. And the bet on the turn is also too small. If the guy is any good you're beat by the river.

Ya, ive seen you quite a bit. Guess game selection is pretty good eh? Ive always wondered, whats my table image like?

Re: Big pot ...100NL

So even with the turn as played you still only 1/2 pot the river?

Re: Big pot ...100NL

I've got you as about 16.5/8.9 after 150 or so hands. I've always seen you as a tight player. (much tighter than most people on there, at least) PT rates you a TA... sounds about right.

I started playing there because I had a bonus to kill, wanted to get one of those jerseys (it'll be a while, only got about 2500 points so far) and figured i'd give 6max a shot (mostly played full ring before). It took a little getting used to, but once I stopped bluffing at calling stations and stopped getting my aces cracked (wait, that hasnt stopped) I'm doing well.

Re: Big pot ...100NL

This is an ugly board (mainly turn/river) for you. Villan definitely looks to have an overpair, and the turn/river definitely did not help you.

I put villan on 77/AJ/JJ/QQ/KK/AA. The turn and river are really ugly cards.

I would bet more on the turn. Villan has shown commitment to this hand and a willingness to put $$ into the pot. You will be getting value from a (usually) worse hand, and it also make the river easier to play- you will have ~$60 left, and it will be a 3/4 value bet instead of a full pot bet.

The river is ugly. I don't know what the play would be. Open pushing is ugly, as villan PROBOBLY has us beat. River suggestions would be good from some other posters.

River is semi-ugly, but I can't think of a much better turn than the K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I don't know how you can put him on KK here. There's a MUCH better chance he simply improved his hand with the King than the chance of him hitting a set. It's an action card and you should be betting more here. What he should have done was bet 25-30 on the turn.
