Old Bottle of unopened Cognac - Some debris floating inside
 

As the title says, I have a bottle of cognac that is unopened however loooking from the bottom there are a lot of gold or yellow coloured specs. I'm not sure what is from, perhaps the cork degrading (though it doesn't look like it).
What should I do, filter it out?
