First post at 5/10 - nut flush draw on paired board
 

I just started playing 5/10 and I have been running horrifically. But I also think that some bad play has creeped into my game (or it was always there perhaps). Here was one hand that I think may have been pretty bad. Please let me know.

CO is pretty tight/passive. SB is quite LAG.

2 folds, CO calls $10, TWP calls $10, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($40) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](4 players)
SB bets $30, BB folds, CO calls $30, TWP raises to $200, SB folds, CO calls $170.

Turn: ($470) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, TWP bets $300, CO pushes, TWP...?

Call or fold? And how bad was my flop raise?

I've only dipped my feet in the 1k deep waters, but

I'd raise preflop to isolate the tight passive limper and hopefuly shut out the blinds, you don't want other aggressive players in the pot when you're hitting on the weak.

Flop raise looks fine.

Turn, it's always nasty when tight passives wake up like this but i still think you have to call here, it could easily be a weaker flush or kings with a good kicker. I don't know what kind of hand a TP would limp here that's made a full house.

What hand would you limp on the button with that holds a king?

I don't like semi-bluffing on a paired flop in an unraised pot.

what's up with your flop raise? listen to allinlife he knows the deal. unfortunately due to your weird flop raise you're almost committed but CO has KQ. maybe he has KT but i think he usually has KQ. fold. also dont be so pot committed next time. and you know how flushes sometimes suck on paired boards? yeah this is one of those boards.

Why raise the flop here ?
One of these bozos almost certainly has a K, and he aint folding. Thus there is no point in semi-bluffing in this spot (I dont think there is in any case).

As it stands, CO probably doesnt have a flush, so he has a full house, thus you should probably fold, if you can find the courage. I find that I sometimes think "surely THIS time he will be bluffing". But usually Im wrong.

I agree with all three.
I cant imagine TWP raising with crap like A4s.. I certainly would though.
