How to adjust your play when having a bad session
 

Last night I had this really bad session where a lot of my good hands got cracked. I've been having a lot of problems recovering from bad starts and would like some advice.

Let's say I've had a lot of good preflop hands and been raising a lot, but not hit the flops. My opponents tend to see that I bet a lot and that I'm usually losing most showdowns. Even though I'm not that LAG, maybe they tend to think I am, since I've been involved in a lot of pots.

They start to call me down a bit more, which have the effect that I hardly can steal any pots, and since I'm running bad this increases my losses big time.

What du you guys do when this happens, do you play a little tighter preflop to get your respect back or do you just play on as usual?

There's doesn't seem to be a reason to tighten up preflop. But if they're calling you down with crap then stop bluffing postflop.

You don't have to continuation bet every flop that you have raised PF. Some of the easiest bluffing is to check a flop you missed, then bet a semi scare card on the turn or raise if bet to.

Unless the table is unusually good, just leave and find a new one.
