Physical tells in live games

Hi, just thought id share with you my demon when playing poker in a big setting- like casino etc.

Im very good at not giving away my cards through facial gestures etc, but the vein in my neck goes crazy when im bluffing/or on a big hand. Im not sure why this is (although i know its because of adrenalin rush) because im not intimidated by the people i play with.

Does anyone else have/had this problem before and what could i possibly do to prevent this. I do wear polo shirts so i can put the collar up- but id rather be able to sort it out. Please dont flame me for this post- it really is an annoying aspect of my live play.

Ric.

I'm just guessing here but would more working out help? I know this makes your veins naturally pop out more so maybe your "bluffing vein" would be less noticable that way.

Both, although people think im trying to look 'cool' when i wear them- rather than for a functional reason.

who cares what they think, they'll probably think you're trying to look cool, forget about the vein, and think you're a donk (which makes the game easier I think). But as long as you win money, who cares.

Is the tell the same for both or does it come out differently when you hit the monster. If it is the same either way, I don't see the problem.
