how did a limped pot get to $19? were there 4 callers?

why didn't you bet the flop?

I think the river min raise was horrible and now you have to fold. I think he has a straight.

Why would you not bet the flop? How many players were in the pot? 9? You're on the button after 8 players check, this is a must bet. You will get called by all sorts of weak draws

I would call the river push.

Pot the flop. If villain pushes you can fold. You have no idea what you up against. Could be another set, two pair or a badly butchered straight.

The river min-raise is awful. Since you have no reads you either have to call this down or push. I probably push, but I am a set miner by nature and probably a little too aggressive when I hit.

You put yourself in a really tough spot here.

Always bet this flop! There's a draw on the board and tons of limpers.

That being said, I'm not sure how I playe the river. The pot is laying you about 1:3 odds, but I'm pretty confident he has the straight.

Why?
1) he didn't raise preflop
2) he didn't bet the flop, as most would slow-play a rainbow straight
3) he called a significant bet on the turn with a card that didn't really improve much.

I think you're behind here. Best hope is that he hit 2-pair with that king.

insta call! he may have caught his over, that is why you let him see more cards... I don't put him on a set, and call on the turn...

You're right, not with top set. Bottom set, as no one most likely has two pair and with no raising preflop and overpair is unlikely so that just leaves straights and sets it is easier to get awy from.
