You can set the resoultion to 1280x800 and still have a beautiful display when you are not playing poker and dont need the extra desktop space.

The display does not look "beautiful" at non-native resolution.

Also the touchpad is practically unusable because it is off-centre and the buttons require too much pressure.

I just got mine too. Carrying around my desktop and a 2005FPW would be more convient, and lighter too. Oh well. It looks very nice on my dresser, although I think it is starting to sag from all the weight.

It is the standard 'home laptop' rig for most online players - I bought one with my first cashout..

For portability I've assume you'd go for the 6000 series..

It was a poor design decision to give this laptop an unusable touchpad rather than a usable one. Do you disagree?

Actaully I do occasionally use it when I'm stuck playing an MTT or sthg and I want to go sit on the sofa in front of the TV - it works fine for me but I'm no touchpad afficianado.

Anyway whilst it may not be that great a design decision - most of us buy it for the fantastic screen specifically to multitable with - very few of us would in those circumstances be using the touchpad..

I will ask this here rather than in the Computer forum which seems to be haunted by more tumbleweeds than posters. I love my 9300, but I am technologically retarded.

I play Party and each table I bring up has one inch of black space along the right and bottom edge of the table. It is really starting to piss me off. How do I fix it?
