Damn... I'm getting a chorus of resounding "no, it sucked" responses... I'm going to have to start using worse drugs when I watch new flicks - it must be warping my sense of judgement...

Most people see "Jet Li" movie and expect a primarily action based kung fu movie such as Kiss of the Dragon, The One, Romeo Must Die, etc. It had some of that, and those scenes were crazy, but the movie was much more of a drama then most people were expecting. Therefore they think it wasn't as good or sucked because their misplaced expectations were never met.

The story was really good and character development I thought was great. Just get past the fact that it's not Jet Li kicking ass 90% of the movie.
