ummmmm.... 3-bet river???

You have a pretty good hand, only a 4 beats you, and I would see this line from AQ, AA, KK, more often then a 4.

and the hellmuth award for hand reading goes to.......easypete. villian shows AA and mhig. given the way the hand played out with a turn raise when the second four hit, i thought he mightve actually had it.

Pretty easy river 3-bet, you have the best hand nearly all the time.

BB calling also helps make this a raise.

he might've but the odds are so far in your favor that the raise is for value, winning one more every time he doesn't have a four vs. paying two when he does = +EV, the joker might even cap with AA which makes us [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

The way villian played the hand, I would've been wary of the case 4 too. Nevertheless 3-bet the river like the others say.

Are you kidding? The last thing you do here is fold.
You do see this with AQ, KK, AA, KQ, or QJ more times than a 4. 3-betting the river is +EV. If he has quads this time, so be it. The next time and the next time and the next time he wont.
