So... whats the 2nd option after party?
I really don't want to get into why, you can look in the internet forum, but I can no longer play at Party Poker. Where does a sng player head? I REALLY appreciate any input.

Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
I really like poker stars a lot. Although their turbo games are a bit too fast in my opinion. However, overall I feel the software and site is much better.
I've also played at pokerroom and hated their software, but the structure was pretty good and games were very soft. If you haven't tried poker stars I'd recommend going there next. |
Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
Or:
Stars Bodog Paradise Interpoker Empire Poker Multi Poker Eurobet Noble Poker Absolute Poker Full Tilt Poker Pokerroom BetonBet Intertops Prima skins Crypto Skins Zerorakepoker Will Hill Poker Betfair Poker Golden Palace Poker The Gaming Club Poker Hollywood Poker Lucky Nugget Poker Parbet Poker PokerPlex Ultimate Bet Pokershare Rakeback Poker Rever Belle Poker aces Poker Bet Royal Poker Caribbean Sun Poker Fair Poker Nine Poker Superior Poker Celeb Poker Fortune poker Classic Poker UK Betting CD Poker Titan Poker Aztec Riches Poker Battlefield Poker BetHoldem Code Poker Crazy Poker Royal Card Club Royal VegasPoker Seven Sultans Poker Doyle's Room Bugsy's Club Pokerworld To name a few - I know I've left some off the list. |
Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
Along these same lines is there a site that really compares the SNG formats of each site including blind level structure, and payout schedule?
|
Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
Stars Turbos - hands down IMO. Other sites with 1500 starting chips take forever and stars is bigger better software. The games are getting fishy there too. Not as solid as before IMO.

Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
I have played at every poker site known to man, but I am stricly looking for advice on sngs, starting at the $22's and I want to be able to build up. Thats for the serious answers, and I will def check out star's turbos.
|
Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
Anywhere else worth checking out the sngs besides stars?
|

Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
I multi table on Interpoker with 30% RB
The games are pretty soft on there |
Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
You wont find many willing to give a public shout'out to small sites they have found with easy SnGs....the pool isnt that deep, and a handful more SnG pros would really make a difference.
I will tell you...most of the sites wont have games running frquent enough to 4 table mid-limits. If thats your thing, you really cant get past about half a dozen big sites. Party, Stars, PR, FullTilt, Bodog, Paradise...they all have regualr games. The only correct answer is "try a few out, THEN pick a new home" |

Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
What are the main differences between stars turbos and normal party sng's? I have played some thousands sng's at Party and don't know if multitabling 33's at Party or try some luck at Stars.

Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
stars have deeper stacks. Bubble usually has everyone at ~12x BB-- pretty difficult situation at the mid levels ($27-$60)

Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
i guess the word isn't "difficult". But you can have a bigge edge. Too deep of stacks to pushbot continuously--, u might have to play a bit postflop ON THE BUBBLE!.

Re: So... whats the 2nd option after party?
Give bodog a shot. The stacks are a little deeper than Party, but the blinds escalate at the same (10 hands) rate.
I ran pretty good there before I made the ultimate realization that STTs were the way to go. |
