First NL session, 87o from BB (NL 100)

My normal game is 5/10 6 max limit, but after a 300 BB downswing (my second in 100k hands) I've decided to re-evaluate my choice in games. I've been lurking here the past few days and decided to play a 500 hand session to see how it felt.

New at table, no reads.I think i am being over aggresive because of my normal game. I try to counter it but sometimes I act without thinking. I'm not sure about any street in this hand, and I think i should have folded the turn.

River: ($42.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO calls $8.30 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $50.80

Comments on all streets appreciated.

Also, on a completely different note, I play on Eueobet and can't figure out how to reload. Limit this is no problem because I can buy in with 100 BBs, but in no limit I found i get stuck with 40bb stacks and have to play short or leave.

Fold preflop.

This is hard because you have no kicker.

Edit: didn't notice the straight possibilites. I still think it's a fold preflop though, heh.

you are soooooooooooooooo behind. Fold the turn....you are likely drawing dead.

Good other than turn. Turn is push or fold to his raise-- I'm leaning towards an easy fold.

Ya i wasnt sure at all about this call, and am curious to see how many fold. So far it looks like 2-1 in favor of calling? This seems like one of those plays that is so close it doesnt matter a whole lot.

You really think he has QJ here?

Edit: Like I said in the op, I think I should have folded, but if I know he has AT or a like hand this is an automatic call.

I think if you call the turn you almost have to call the river with the dog...I'd most likely fold the turn, even with the draw, not worth it with the ass end.

Sry to reply so much to my own post, but I want to see what people think about check-folding the turn. When he calls the flop he either sucks or he has a straight draw or a hand that beats me. The hand that beats me still beats me, and the straight draw either got there or made a higher pair. Do unknowns typically call here with a hand like AQo?

Re: First NL session, 87o from BB (NL 100)

As you said, turn is check fold time, unless he bets it really small. He could easily smooth call the flop with a T, to which are you drawing pretty slim, and to which you could have reverse implied odds (i.e if he has TJ).

PF is fine, except you should try to maintain a full stack. If you're uncomfortable losing that much on a hand, I would maybe try the 50NL for a while.

Read the end of my post op, I wasnt sure how to handle this, does anyone else play at eurobet? My br at 1,000BBs for my normal game even with my current downswing, the money is not even close to a concern, and I do not know how you got this impression.
