I recently played with Fossilman Raymer in the 2600$ WCOOP
and he stated that his " Backers received 2.1 Million after his WSOP Victory.... Would 50%-50% be fair ??? Is that the standard split with backers ??? Do they post all entry fees ??? Do they cover expenses??? Do any of you pros use them ??? Thank You....

no, he did have backers who did receive like 2.1 million of his purse.

Yeah, he had backers. Here is the post where he originally made an online solictitation for backers. If only I had an extra 20K lying around at the time.

I think his basic deal was he supplied about 40% of the roll, his backers the rest. When the deal was over at the end of the WSOP, they split the proceeds of whatever period of time the deal lasted.
