Heads up Help

Hey fellas,

Out of a 800 sample size, including both 200+15 and step 5s (1000+65)sngs, I've got a heads up win rate of exactly 50-50. This isn't acceptable to me and I need to find some holes in this aspect of my game.

I am ok when the blinds are smaller but when the blinds get to 250/500 and 300/600 I'm always playing the push fold game. However usually my opponents can play this game just as well and things even out in the long run.

Do you guys have any tips for heads up with blind level at 9 and 10?

Any help is appreciated.

Mistaken,

heads up at 200/400 and 300/600 are you usually ahead and losing half the time?
Also, what are you laying down?

Just need a little more info to be any help

I'd say I go into most battles about even in chips. As far as my push/fold game goes, I'll usually push with Qx or higher and call Kx or higher.

Personally, I'd be pushing a wider range of hands. I usually push J7+, Jxs, T9+, T7s+. I'd try that and see wha happun.

Sounds fairly standard for a push fold style. I think Sammy has a good point, if you start pushing with as low as
say J 7+ suited you will get more folds and maybe get lucky on a call
