63,621 idiots
That's how many people were at Metrodome for the Vikings/Chiefs preseason game. Hey let's watch a bunch of scrubs play a meaningless game.
Viking fans are delusional. Is it like this in other states? |
Re: 63,621 idiots
No, nobody went to the other games.
|
Re: 63,621 idiots
Hey that's funny. I'm asking if they fill the stadiums.
|
Re: 63,621 idiots
The Packers filled the stadium for their last game. I don't think other teams do though.
One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of teams combine preseason games with season tickets and other package deals so it is basically free for a lot of those people to go to the game. |

I meant "free" in the same way that you get "free" long distance on your cell phone plan. |
Re: 63,621 idiots
I understand that they're included in the season ticket package. I just don't understand how that many people don't have anything better to do on a (rare) beautiful Minnesota summer night.

That including preseason tickets, because, after all, there are only 10 games in the season. |
Re: 63,621 idiots
I don't know what's worse- the 73,000 people at the Panthers game tonight or the fact that I'm watching it on tv.

Re: 63,621 idiots
Looked like a crapload of folks at the Niners-Raiders game.

Re: 63,621 idiots
"Announced" attendance at the Texans-Broncos game was just north of 70,000. I was at the game (was given the tix), and if there were 45,000 asses in the seats I'd be surprised.

Re: 63,621 idiots
Ticket Sold < People who actaully attended. Oh and I would say that this is normal for the 1st football game in the area in 8 months.

The Seahawks gouge their season ticket holders for 2 preaseason games at regular season prices. It is a [censored] outrage. |
Re: 63,621 idiots
In Green Bay, preseason games are part of season-ticket packages.
Most season-ticket holders sell their preseason tickets to people who can't get tickets to regular season games. |
