Quick ? about hand-for-hand

I was under the impression that hand-for-hand was one table at a time, but it appears that each table plays the hand at the same time, pausing between each hand.

What happens if there are 4 non-paying spots (spots at a certain pay level) left, and 5 players go out on a particular hand? Does the tiebreaker of highest initial chip stack come into play?

Thanks,
-David

In the past, ties on the bubble have been settled by splitting last-place money among the people who busted. In your scenario, each player who busted would get $2,500.

Last year, Dewey Tomko and some other guy went out on the bubble on the same hand, but the Horseshoe coughed up an extra $10K so each player could get a full payout.

This year although it did not happen. They were going to do it based on # of chips before going bust.

Tournament Director Johnny Grooms has announced that everytime there is an all in and a call, that dealers must get an exact chip count for the all in players in order to determine who gets paid.
