utg+2 raises, mp (50\10\1.2) calls, i 3bet black aa, both call.

flop is 1053 all hearts. bet, call, i call waiting for the turn.

I think the limit would affect my decision here a bit, but in general: don't fold!

I'd 3bet to find where I am at and then check if I didnt't want to pay a raise on the river

raise the flop...you may not get a chance to pop the turn

Hi Bob,

I think your equity changes so much on the turn that waiting to raise is fine. If it gets checked to you that is fine as well. When you just call the flop in this game they will almost always keep firing.

Victor, I think you need to 3 bet here. You are often against an overpair and a ten or a semibluff pair/draw combo hand trying to clean up outs (although he may not know that is what he is doing). If they both call the river will be tougher to play. Just spike the Ad on the river to make things easier.

What information do you expect to get, and what will you do with that information?

You've massively underrepresented your hand here so folding is no good, I kind of like coldcalling sometimes to see if the other guy 3bets.

Re: aa facing some heat

Since a check-raise has so much going for it if UTG+2 has a made hand, I'd say he's a lot more likely to have a draw on this flop given that he bet out. No guarantee he'll bet those draws again on the turn, so I like a flop raise much better.

Surfdoc mentioned that your equity will change drastically on the turn, but if you recall the example in Ed Miller's SSH of the TT vs. AA on a draw-heavy board and waiting until the turn to raise, he concluded raising the flop is better with AA and raising the turn is better with TT because of the extra equity AA has on the flop.
