Instance for slowplaying

Party 1/2
I'm UTG and I raise first in with KQs
Fold, fold, fold, Cold Call from MP (ok player)
Fold, fold, fold, BB completes. (good player)

Both of these players I had gotten into altercations with on previous hands.

Flop KQQ.

1) Smallish pot.
2) Free card will probably give someone second best hand.
3) I have very little chance of being outdrawn.

Slowplay?? Looks like it.
What do I do? BET
Why? Because my image was kind of loose and I had been raising a lot before. I thought that there was no way these guys are goign to muck to me.

fold fold.

hmmm. I would bet the flop too, but I'm not too sure I would raise utg with KQs. Am I way off here?

I play it the same way. After you PFR, it's almost impossible to slowplay.

Yep.

Edit: To clarify, table reads are important here, but on a good loose-passive table I raise KQs from every position. Good high card strength, connectedness, suitedness. It plays well against lots of opponents or few unless dominated.

Re: Instance for slowplaying

A "good" player you have to figure for a suited ace, probably A-Q, A-J type hand, or a small PP, all of which hands i think would call here, once they cold call. With the exception of AQs, all these hands need runner runner to catch you. So i think betting is certainly the play, especially given the image you laid out.

Thanks for the edit. I was begining to wonder. Ran and grabbed sshe, checked the chart. Came back and hit refresh and there's the explanation.

Much better.

Not to mention, a good player will probably smell a rat on the flop check. How many UTG raising hands don't like that flop? JJ? If you check chances are it gets checked thru and you're faced with the same dillema on the turn.
Having said all that, I probably still check this flop 3-way

Bet this everytime.

He could have a Q, he could have thousands of holdings. He could have JT for a straight draw.

Checking then betting the turn is so fishy its not even funny. Even the fish will know whats going down. Bet this.

I would bet out. You were the preflopraiser, so you are expected to do so. They will likely call one bet on the flop and might improve anyway.
