Yeah....they've been keeping up with it in the WPT forum.

The Schaefer guy who is the chip-leader is also a 2+2'er.


I like the pic of Zee a little ways down the blog. Man I feel old and fat (in other words, golly, he's a young, little skinny kid).


On the thing about Zee in the blog it mentioned that he had previously qualified for the Caribbean adventure thing, the Scandanavian Open (was this Copenhagen??) as well as the French Open.

I thought he had also played in Vienna but I might be remembering incorrectly.


So...he's made the final table there and since 9th place took home 9500 euros I'm guess Zee will get at least 11k euros if he finishes 8th....and obviously more if he sticks around for awhile.


This is a televised event..but only in Europe.
I don't know if it's just Brit-only broadcast or if it will also air in France or if our Irish and Swede trouters will get a chance to watch as well.
Maybe some of you fine folks over there can enlighten us as to the EPT television coverage.

I got an email from Schaefer yesterday, he's pretty stoked about the whole thing. First place is 144k Euros. Talk about 2+2 representing.
