free hosting?

so i designed my own web site and am looking for a site that will host it on the web for free. I dont want something that only lets u use there templets as i learned html and would prefer to design it my self.
what are the best sites that let you do this?

Do you have a domain name, or just a site?

Geocities, tripod, your ISP should all provide you with space to upload a website. Start with your ISP.
