Man vs Vegas

anyone seen this new show on CMT? guy cashes in everything he owns for 1 million in cash and takes on Vegas cause they "owe" him 3 million that he lost a couple years back. the guy is a true degenerate in every sense of the word.

given $1 million why would anyone waste it playing carnival games?

first of all, there is no skill game that you need a 1 million br for. Unless you are the best in the world, you shouldn't be playing in any game that you'd need more than a $10,000 br for, but hey, that's why vegas is still around.

What's CMT and where can I watch this amazing idea for a TV show?

There was a Brittish guy not too long ago who took his "entire net worth" of about 120K and put in on Red (maybe black). It generated a fair amount of publicity and he won the wager.

Yea, actually I was about to make a post about this show. I don't know if this guy is for real or not, but if he is, hes an idiot. First of all, hes playing casino games with a -EV. Not only that but he is GIVING away money to other people making it even more -EV. I think its great that hes giving away money to people and stuff, but If he really sold everything and only had 1 million its a pretty bad move. Also, how is he so sure who he is giving this money to? If it was me, and some guy just gave me 1200, I'd probably gamble with it! This guy may be the dumbest person on earth, but the show is definately entertaining. I'm just waiting for him to run into Ivey at the craps table, and Ivey will be playing higher than him.

Yeah I was talking to Thatpfunk about the show and he said that if he was a super millionaire he'd follow the guy around and bet double whatever he was betting just to be a dick.

It would be sweet if he got a seat in the big game at Belagio. He'd look at his cards and start screaming "MONKEY MONKEY MONKEY" and when he wins a pot "WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER." Then he'd turn to Barry and tell him he was going to give him...seven...hundred...dollars.

I can't stand that guy...

I was trying to get people to watch this show, because I couldn't find the words to describe exactly how idiotic it was.

Wow, this is one of the most legitimate sounding completely uninformed things I have ever read in my life.

wow, you're still posting?

umm, well as for skill games in vegas, I meant poker.

wow thats a backhanded compliment. but hey, can I bs or what?

what part of my statement would you disagree with?

I know there are poker games running that would necessitate a one million dollar br, but like I said, those are for world-class players.

what part of my post did you disagree with?
