question on tounament coinflips
 

i was in a tournament where i got a huge stack quick and it got small really quick. the reason it got so small is because i kept getting mid pocket pairs like 10 10 and 99 when there was a player all in and me left to call him. i did because i wanted to use my big stack and my good cards to knock out players. it didnt turn out as well as i had hoped and kept losing these coinflips and my stack. what advise do you propose to stop this thing from happening?
