Why didn't you go all in on the river?

Rake? Who would raise without an ace? Oh wait...

Re: Come on in, the water\'s fine...

I assumed (incorrectly in this case) that my opponent would raise with an Ace and an Ace only. If I had re-raised all-in and he in fact held an Ace, then I would have actually lost money versus just calling because of the rake.

I guess you could argue that I should always go all-in here, because the times that he doesn't hold an Ace and calls will more than make up for the times that he does and that I lose extra money in rake. However, I honestly thought there was no way that he would raise without the Ace.

Do you think MP wakes up to realize that he does not have a boat and folds or you think he calls the all in? Then again...maybe he was worried about you having the 5th king and folds.
