So far the play is atrocious... about what you'd expect when you throw a bunch of primary limit grinders into a NL MTT.

Just doubled up when Q3o checkraised my made flush.

I'm one of those limit players, but man, talk about passive play! I managed to hit the chip lead at my table, lost it against a better draw whose boat card was my straight card.

Busted one player for a near doubleup with KKvAK, I got c/r'd all in on a 997 board.

Added another 50% to my stack when things got messy with 88 against a bunch of undercards against A4 NPND.

So much for the 'playing like a maniac' strategy, I've been playing like an idiot so far.

As if it matters, I went out 98th when I called against the resteal-happy big stack (i was #2 at my table) with TT against 88 and he flopped an 8. My flush draw didn't come through.

I think I'm disappointed all out of proportion.

I slept in - finished 300th-ish by just posting blinds and folding because of AFK - lol [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
