How much does getting a box cost at Taj, Borgata?
 

Hi there,

Does anyone know how much does it cost to rent a box at the thvarious AC poker rooms? Particularly interested in the Taj and the Borgata.

To the OP it might be best just to call the casino's and ask. Most of us just carry cash on us. The only reason I could think to use them would be so you don't have to cash out chips (over 10k limit, but I'm not sure if you're allowed to keep chips in them...)

Cost is not the issue, availability is. If a box is available, they will charge $100 for the key. This is a refundable deposit for when the box is surrendered. I also believe you must open the box at least once every two months or you'll lose it and typically floor people will only grant requests to those who regularly play mid/high limits.

There are no boxes available at Borgata and there is a long waiting list. Try a "front money" account (call the cage for details, it's basically leaving money on depo and drawing off it). Taj also offers front money, but occasionally will have boxes available. Talk to a floorperson.
