7 card stud high vs hi/lo?

What are the differences between stud high and hi/lo? Not the actual game structure but do you find one is more profitable or easier to beat, etc? Do you prefer one over the other, if you do then why?

Other considerations being equal, I find high-only stud more enjoyable. Nothing is more profitable than stud/8, though, at least where limit poker is concerned.

I find stud a bit mechanical . I play mostly premium pairs (Per SS1) and not so many straights & flushes.
Stud8 can be mechanical but you are thinking in 2 dimensions low and high. Mainly my drawing low against other lows and a high so less boring/mechanical.
when you sccop in Stud 8 it can be a big pot.Overall for less risk I think you can earn more per hour in stud8

Against a table of bad players, you'll do much better in stud 8 than stud high. But there's generally fewer bad players in stud 8 than stud high.
