Looks good.

EDIT: If you want a 2nd opinion, just think of all the times you do have an ace there and a guy like that doesn't pay you off.

I hate that he called the turn, I think he may very well still call the river if hes at all thinking, if not your J high is prolly good. Still I think its worth a shot, even if he does just fold a worse hand, at least you dont have to show yours

This is a HU blind battle. You guys don't think there are a zillion K high and Q high hands (with or without clubs) that villain can have?

Re: River Bluff

I think the river bet is imperative. There are plenty of K high, Q high, and J high hands that will fold now. Who knows he may even misclick and fold a 4. I would have needed a little more showdown value to bet the turn, however, because I think your folding equity is extremely small. I believe my typical opponent will use whatever reason he used to call the flop to justify a turn call as well, basically because the 4 didn't change anything. I would bet with your hand (or any other hand I had raised with preflop for that matter) if anything J or higher had hit the turn. Then again, your opponent's probably play a little better than mine . Where is my reasoning flawed?

Thanks,
Cartman

I think there are.

This guy is passive and its very hard to find a hand he think is worth a call on flop that isnt still worth a call on turn so why dont we check turn behind and bet river almost whatever card it is? If club hits he will think its ours, if high card hits he will think its ours and if he is on a busted draw or overcards (but not A-high) not hitting he will not think at all and often just fold.

This guy is not autobetting river if we check turn so if he bets river he probably got something.
