Ugh @ 5/10

Villain has been a bit inconsistent. Definitely loose, but mixes his aggression. The button has been a typical abc player who uses position well.

Limp-Cap, Wow thats a new one. They do that stuff at 5/10? Interesting.

Looks good to me, Limp-Cap = AA? Hehe.

Well played.

I hope not. If he's capping that flop with a flush draw for a free card, he's already paid more than it'd cost to just call one more on the turn.

I would put in more bets on the turn. You could not have asked for a safer card. The limp-cap could be AA, but at 5/10 I am normally shown a large range of crap as well. I would either donk the turn or check-raise. I like donking better against most opponents beacuse you take away the 3-bet when behind. If he was very aggressive then I would check-raise and call down a 3-bet.

bet the turn.

I think your hand is worth 2-3 bbs on the big street, not 1-2.

Yup. I've seen far more crap limp reraises than legit ones. I want to lead the turn and call down if raised.

When it's more than a normal limp-reraise (the limp cap especially), I think a lot of opponents figure "well, 77, JT, A4s, etc sucks now, maybe I can scare the crap out of them!"

if you think about villain having like 77-TT, the fact that he got too people to fold preflop is pretty compelling.

and I have seen a ton of PP do this.

and they'll also go nuts on this flop.

Edit: I grunched.

You know, in NL a limp-reraise usually means AA, but I've found in limit some nutjobs like to do it with suited connectors, once the field has gotten big. I wouldn't be surprised to see two spades here, and I would definitely call down. I would just call the flop raise, though. He did cap preflop and is now raising you. That's not insignificant.

This is one argument that makes two spades less likely, which means a turn bet has less value.
