$$ value of Party Poker Points?

How much are these things worth, roughly?

I ask because my a*hole of a brother entered a freeroll without asking me that used up 1000 of my points. Was wondering how much he's going to have to pay me back - I guess I could calculate it by seeing how much the freeroll entry was worth in EV, or how much PP stuff the 1000 points would buy from the PP "store," but I'm too lazy.

3000 points for a 30 dollar hoodie equals about 1 cent per point in clothing. Figure out the prize pool of free roll and divide it my entrants, that will give you the money he owes you.

you can't seriously think the hoodie is worth $30. I think blue members get $20 per 10k points and gold members get $30.

You also could just be a nice sibling and let your brother off the hook...and you know, spend a couple days getting them back.

It's not that big of a deal.

Unless this was hypothetical.

That's a fair point. For what it's worth, I rarely play on Party any more (no rakeback), so I have no idea how long it takes to accumulate these things. All I know is that the 1000 points was a decent chunk of change relative to the 12000 I had in my account, so I assumed it had fair monetary value. Since 1000 points seems to be worth much less than $10, I'll probably play the "good sibling" line.
