ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - One of al-Qaida's top five leaders, said to be responsible for planning overseas strikes, was killed by Pakistani security forces in a rocket attack near the Afghan border with U.S. help, American and Pakistani officials said Saturday.

This makes the 25th top five leader we have killed. Pentagon spokesmen said that there are only 32 top five leaders left.

Does this mean the Pentagon doesn't think they have a "replacement" program in place? Jeeze, lousy management, huh?

You have to kill more than one at a time to get ahead. Like we did there since we got a few others in the same house. But his replacement has already been picked no doubt from the surving membership. And spraying works best, like with missles, bombs, artillery and napalm.

Well just like with roaches it takes time to spray all the nooks and crannies, and the chemicals wear off after a while and you have to do it again to keep the situation in check. Unless of course you want to just "cut and run" and waste all the previous effort and let the situation revert back because you can't handle longer ongoing situations and want every problem to be able to be neatly solved quickly and permanently.

And don't we still have crime in America? Why haven't we stomped it out for good in over 200 years of trying?

Ever wonder why the FBI's ten most wanted list always has 10 ciminals on it? It because after they kill/capture someone on that list number 11 moves up.

Wow, I wasn't expecting much from this thread, but military advice from that great strategist BluffTHIS! and the sight of Stu Pidasso lecturing someone about "stupid posts" has far exceeded those expectations.
