Re: PokerBlue
I played there. It was 45 minutes of terror in the 1/2 HE room. Seriously, terror.
It was like I was playing with Will Robinsons best friend. |
Re: PokerBlue
I don't know about Will Robinson, but his best friend sucks at poker.

Re: PokerBlue
pokerblue is a solid poker room. i'm still playing there cuz of that sign up bonus that got me 100%.
i've seen that bonus whore blacklist before, and that [censored] has been on there forever. i've never seen anything wrong with pokertropolis or their "network". they also have that 100% sign up bonus |
Re: PokerBlue
From what I saw of the games going, anyone got comments on the 10/20 or 15/30 holdem games?

they have the worst players I have ever seen. too bad they don't have more traffic. [/ QUOTE ] Their tables are so overrun with weak-tight players they're indistinguishable from bots -- whether or not they're actually bots doesn't matter to me. They've got a bunch of great promotions going on right now (in particular, their week-ending WPT seat freerolls or whatever incarnation they're in now), but unless something's changed drastically in the last two months they've got some seriously wacky software problems. Nothing that really got in the way of play, just weird issues that show a distinct lack of polish. (An example: I deposited $600, and sat down at a 2/4 table with $80. The cashier told me I now had a grand total of $440 in my account -- apparently they double-subtracted the money on the table. Once I stood up, of course, the error reversed itself and I had the right amount of money.) Keep in mind that this is all taken from playing there two months ago, so in theory it's possible that it's different now. |
Re: PokerBlue
I think the WPT thing ended yesterday right?

Re: PokerBlue
Don't try running the software with a dual-monitor setup. Something about the way XP and the client interact makes PokerBlue into a huge sinkhole for your RAM. Turn off dual monitors and it's OK. Shrug.
