Are there peanut shells on the floor too?

Re: Plastic Cards

Without a doubt,... plastic cards are worth every penny.

I've been using the same deck of Copags for more than 5 months, with weekly use...
This includes being spilled upon by everything from beer to Rum and Cokes.
A gentle cleaning is all they need to be as good as new.

Invest in them.... You won't regret it.

You may want to try using Dal Negro instead. Like ky70 said earlier, they make for an easier transition.

They are a bit slippery at first, but it'll get better with more usage.

Re: Plastic Cards

Anyone know where I can get a good price on a set of plastic (KEM, Copag, etc.) super magnum index cards, preferably bridge sized? This is what I'm looking for:

I've got multiple sets of Kem's and Copag's and I would recommend either Dal Negro Freedom's or Modiano Bike Trophy's. They're just all around better cards and if you are making the switch from paper cards to plastic, these are also a better transition.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wait, are you recommending the latter two OVER the former two?
I personally wouldn't recommend Gemacos, based on the one setup I have, over Copags or Kems- too slick.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes I do recommend those 2 over Kem & Copag. I have no experience with Gameco's but I've turned into a plastic card junky. I have 8 decks of Copag's, 4 decks of Kems, 6 decks of Modiano's, 2 decks of Dal Negro(I'm leaving out 2 decks but I'm drawing blank) and I would personally take the Dal Negro Freedom's or Modiano Bike Trophy poker width over the rest

Re: Plastic Cards

I agree that COPAG and Modiano are the best overall value for 100% plastic cards - only $14.95 for double-deck sets. The best prices you'll find on these cards can be found here ->

and free shipping!

I believe that they are plastic coated and not true plastic cards.
