Fundementals Questions

What do you do with:

1. TT UTG or UTG+1 in a loose aggressive game? (8-9 handed, 5+ to flop)
2. JJ UTG or UTG+1 in a loose aggressive game? (8-9 handed, 5+ to flop)
3. TT UTG or UTG+1 in a tight game? (8-9 handed, 2 or less flop)
4. JJ UTG or UTG+1 in a tight game? (8-9 handed, 2 or less to flop)

What "good hands" are people folding UTG in an 8-9 handed LAG game?

these hands will seldom win unimproved in a big ring game. You also have no positional advantage. You want to see the flop, and if you hit trips you know the drill.
By the way, when you do hit trips UTG, you can make a lot of money with them because they sometimes are up against under trips. yahoo!!

folded UTG KJ, QJ, Q10, K10, and anything under these. You want AK, AQ, maybe Aj, and any pairs, maybe KQ. A10 suited is okay but not so much unsuited.

Isn't open limping a bad play?

Do you call a 3xBB raise after you limped? A 5xBB?

I raise all of them.

If you flop top set, you want to get money in the pot with them, and you'll get a lot more money in the pot if you raise PF and c-bet it just like you would if you missed. And of course, you'll win the pot in other ways too, like c-betting when you don't hit trips and having others fold... or c-betting, getting called, hitting trips on the turn, etc.

I know you have to draw the line somewhere, but this doesn't make any sense
