TAGs seem to be losing

4th day at 1/2 not a winning TAG among them. Is there even a point to using Bison rules anymore? Dont know if this is because of very small sample size or maybe those myths about 1/2 are right. |
Re: TAGs seem to be losing
omg the biggest sample is 118hands
worthless post and most of them look to be TP rather than TA |
Re: TAGs seem to be losing
smiley face > moneybag > eagle
TAG is overrated |
Re: TAGs seem to be losing
Worthless sample.
Don't know what rules you use, but most eagles are TA-neutral, not TAGs. And auto-rate is not gospel. I've got plenty of moneybags in my DB who can't play postflop worth a dang. |

Re: TAGs seem to be losing
This is silly. Even less empirically sound than cross-country growth regressions.

sample size, bla bla bla
and, more importantly good stats != good player |

smiley face > moneybag > eagle TAG is overrated [/ QUOTE ] I agree 100%. As soon I realized that PF isn't the end-all, be-all of the hand and postflop is, my VPIP inched up out of moneybags range. There's no way I could play that tight now. The original bison rules are, IMO, way off from optimal poker. I've been a smiley face for many tens of thousands of hands. Never going back. If the dudes the OP were to post thier stats, there would probably be a resounding chorus of "you're way too tight." |
Re: TAGs seem to be losing
So being loose preflop is +ev?
