i'd be very tempted to 3-bet the turn, but that may be because i know he checked the river. i think you played this fine.

I will often 3 bet it, it looks like a free showdown more or a slowplayed monster, but since it's a blind steal I 3bet.

..."whiskey bar" ?

I like every street. I think the turn is the only question, to 3-bet or not...but his stats aren't too far out of line so I think a call down is fine.

Standard. I don't 3-bet the turn here on this straight board b/c being 4-bet will blow and you will have to call (though I think you can possibly lay the river in this scenario w/o improvement). So anyway, just call the turn raise and ensure a bet goes in on the river - as you did.

3 betting the turn is suicide, especialy when u have 4 outs if your behind most of the time. j10 being the only exception. 10-9 is about the only hand you can beat that most 30-12's who limp under the gun have. Depending on how fancy he is, I could definitly see myself checking the river.

With a VPIP of 30, KQ and maybe 87s are possibilites. JT also. Set of nines. Sure you might have the best hand, but I don't think it is often enough to 3-bet, since you will get 4-bet a lot when behind.

How is it a blind steal? Or a free shodown play?

I think you played if perfectly.
