I too would CR the turn. You can't be sure that the other guy is gonna stick around, and there is no reason to let the taggy button see a cheap river. He's Tag but he limped here. What does that tell you? What is his range of hands? Actually, I never limp in this situation. I have trouble putting him on a range of hands for this reason.

more thoughts

Fish isn't calling 2 cold and I'm not really worried that he's a threat, so I want to keep him in. That's why I didn't check-raise the turn.

I'd like some other feedback on Button's range of hands and how to extract the most/lose the least.

OK. So what's the plan then? Assuming fish doesn't reraise,

What do you do at the river if
a) button calls?
- bet/call
- bet/fold
- check/call

b) What do you do at the turn/river if button reraises?

Is he rocky enough that you can lead/fold the turn?

Now that's a good question. I think I missed that line; I was worried about representing/showing the King by betting out the turn, and preferred to represent the draw so rocky rock would continue to bet his 77 or T9s or whatever. If he's flopped a set or a straight I'm toast and can fold to a raise. He may raise with 77 to push me out though and keep the fish to himself. I can't remember his aggression factor but it wasn't overly passive.

I dunno, what are you doing with 98s here?

a) bet/call
b) call-down

I would not fold TPTK, in the Party 15 even rocks make plays once in a while.

Fish is calling 2 cold with a 5 in his hand or maybe even with something like 76 or even 78 thats why we call him a Fish. There is 8Bb in the pot when it comes to you on the turn and when its up to button to act there will be 12 (fish always calls !! )if you CR. At those odds 77 or A6 is not folding the turn and what do you care if he calls or folds the river if you already made hime pay on the turn...Now if you behind you did cost yourself extra 2BB but if you ahead you made yourself 2 or more...
