Prob gutshot

Here's a good strategy for gutshot:

1. Wait for a good hand.
2. Bet the pot.
3. Repeat.

You'll clean up.

Also, I know you've been before, did you ever have any trouble after talking during a hand? I remember I once said to a friend who spent about 90 seconds agonisingly pondering a call, "come on, we're paying time", and then he called and the bitching after that between the tight old men about people talking during hands and telling their friends what to do and collusion was ridiculous.

I only played the £25 game and played the way outlined above I never left down from that game, although I did get outplayed totally on a Sunday afternoon game, but got lucky and left the table with £100.

Have you played the higher games the £25-50 or the £100? If so how did they play? I asked on another site about playing £100 games and was told that the games could be quite tough (espicially with limited experience).

I am surprised there were tight old men at the table, I didnt have any problems but a couple of people can get moaned at, but it seemed more at people who they know. The talking thing may have been called as a moody in the recent past at other places which may have a bearing on their moaning.
