Is iso raising worth it?

Last night I had a 85/20/0.9 player to my right, but the LPP 55/7/1.2 to my left kept cold calling my iso raise attempts. Do I just give up on trying to iso the player on my right? Any suggestions?

You mean the LPP to your left?

In that case i'd probably not bother. Just wait for a strong hand and stop isolating with marginal stuff.

Obviously raise your big hands. Dont think "Oh but he will call and have position on me" just play accordingly to the flop.

Post some hands during that session and everyone can take a look.

So where you may isolate with K9s, It may be wise not to bother. I'd just wait till i got AK and punish them both.

Value betting alot into the LPP to my left of course.

I would stop isoraising with hands that dont do well multiway like A8 or something. But I am still popping him with K9s.

I had a similar situation tonight with a 85/1/0.2 guy on my right and a persistent cold caller to my left. It's really difficult to beat them both with marginal hands. Luckily for me the cold caller was also a habitual Turn folder so I popped the Turn bet and more often than not I was heads up with my original target. I think you can play worse than premium hands against two fish but I'm not quite sure where to draw the line yet. A job for this week me thinks!!

I raised when he limped with A7, A9, A5s, K8s, and Q9s. The LPP cold called every time but once. So throw out the non-suited hands and I'm still in good shape?

I agree here, although I might do A8 but that's as low as I'd go as far as the offsuit Ax's go.
