Re: Grand Tournament V

12,300 at first break. total maniac at the table, he has probably open raised 50% of hands, very aggressive postflop. making things difficult.

KSakuraba 12-17-2005 05:02 PM

Re: Grand Tournament V

9730 at first break...cold cards and bad play...hope to make it better in the next hour.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Big stack raises UTG. I call in LP with QQ. Flop is QJ9. He bets 1/2 the pot. I raise. He pushes. I call. He has AA and hits a river set.

edit: and csharp takes down around a 30k hand with a full house. I picked the right person to stalk. I think hes in second.

Sitting at around 19k now, wasn't paying a whole lot of attention while I was at the FT of the 300+20.

Re: Grand Tournament V

I haven't had a fan in a NL tourney in a WHILE. I would be pleased with 70th. It's been that long since I've cashed in an NL tourney. Had a dissappointing KK hand when this guy I've been trying to catch all tourney turns up AA. Was a 13K blow Other than that, I've been getting monster hands and rarely getting paid off. AA,KK, and AK have been good for picking up limped pots. First big hand was stacking someone when I turn the nut flush, and he rivers the 2nd nut.

Anyway, 61K and 3rd place. I'm excited

You're excited? Im sitting here in the living room watching some random dude own a tourney for 1k buyin while I pwn a 5.50 450 person tourney. Someone sweat me, I'm at table tanga, 2nd in chips with 24 left.

edited to say tough last few hands, csharp. that JJ vs. AK, K9 vs some donkey all in, etc.

Re: Grand Tournament V

1k buyin, 500k guaranteed, 10k starting stacks and 30 min levels. I busted in 3rd level, QQ vs KK and monotone flop.

edit: im sorry for the hijack. lets focus on cardsharp now. bring one back to 2+2 cardsharp. 150k with your name on it.

tks, sounds cool...will have to check it out

Re: Grand Tournament V

rough. csharp makes a good call w/ K10, hits trips on the flop against KJ, and gets gutshot rivered by the straight. I have a xmas party to go to, but I'm still rootin for ya. (and all 2+2ers still in)

CardSharpCook 12-17-2005 10:34 PM

Re: Grand Tournament V

thanks, ego. This hour has been brutal. Lost 5 coiners vs. shorties, and then that hand. Also paid off a big stack with JJ vs AK on a KT9T3 board. Have turned 150K into 70K.
