PT stats

i've just got PT and have about 2700 hands logged. I know V$IP and PFR% are important stats when evaluating my game for leaks. my VP is about 21 and my PFR is 11. I'm trying to figure out where i need to improve, i have some ideas but what other stats would help me?

i'd say that PFR of 11 is a bit high IMO. what types of hands are you raising from what positions?

Also click on more details in the main tab and check out your total aggression factor. Your aggression on every street can also say alot about the way you play. 2700 is still a very small sample size.

Re: PT stats

For the most part I work with the SSH pre-flop spread sheet. I play $1/2 at the cryptos right now. the games are are probably tighter than at Party
PFR% (Hands)
90+ (QQ, AKs, AQs, TT, AKo, JJ, KK, AA)
80+ (AQo)
70+ (KQs)
60+ (99, ATs, KJs)
50+ (QJs, AJo, AJs)

i'm not new to poker, just PT and am trying to get a feel for the program.

Re: PT stats

The PFR percentage seems to be high. However, your sample size is really too small to say anything. You could have been on a run of really good cards preflop. Just play your game and see what the stats look like at, say, 10K hands.

T

If you are looking for this stat on your opponents the easiest way to go is to use either Gametime or Playerview. Those both work with Pokertracker. To get your aggression factor numbers, click on the More Details button on the General Tab of Poker Tracker.

Also, check out the sticky FAQ on micro-limits as it will answer questions about what range certain stats should be in. Further, note that it will take many hands played before your numbers will converge to a point that you can derive significat meaning from them.

PFR of 11 is not too high. Some microlimit players find success with PFR %'s as high as 12.5-13%, as long as VP$IP is kept under 20.

My short-term stats are at around 19/12/2.8, and I'm doing okay, for what it's worth.
