Average SH table. Villain here is vitual unknown. Only been at table 5 hands. He did buy in for table min so I had an idea he probably wasn't a pro.

BB bets, EP folds, I call planning on raising about any turn card.

BB checks, I bet, BB raises, I call ?????

J pairing makes it an easy call. I think I call it down even without though. Turn screwplays are so rare. Some non-insignificant amount of the time they are a semibluff/bad hand.

This is no doubt an un-non-insignificant point, but how much weaker is 'non-insignificant' than the simpler 'significant'?

well significant implies that it's a primary factor in the decision. Non-insignificant implies that it's more of a peripheral factor.
