I raise this flop. You flopped a monster draw, with 15 outs to nearly the nuts. You are a nice favorite with 2 cards to come, particularly since this pot is multiway. This pot is good sized by the time it gets to you with 320 already in (if my math is correct) and 90 to call for you. I raise about the size of the pot to ~500. If anyone pushes back I insta call.

I don't know how you can possibly fold this turn. It's 225 to you to call with the pot at 725 after villian's bet. Even if you disregard the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] as outs (which I don't think you can completely do) you still have 13/46 outs so your odds are more than enough to call.

This is a GREAT board for your hand. Get some chips in the middle.

Yeah, how you don't raise on the flop is beyond me, IMO. Not only do you have your 15 outs to the flush/straight, but you have 2 overs that may give you the best hand. You played this a bit too passively, I think.

To first replier: No, this is from an MTT.

To others: I also wanted some advice regarding the push on the riv. Is this standard?

You pushed 775 into a 1275 pot into two players (granted both had already checked). I personally would check this down given the fact that there are two players who have to fold for you to win.

Put it another way, after you called all this way on such a draw heavy board, if I'm villian sitting on a hand like KJ, I call. You have been calling all the way on such a draw heavy board that it would seem you are on the draw and pushing suddenly on the river would seem very fishy to me.

You mean you call the allin with TP2K? Didn't you consider that I could have a set, backdoor flush, Q9 for the straight, two pair, etc.

I don't hate the call on the flop since there are 6 people in the hand and it's early in the tournament. You'll need to be careful on a flush though, Ahxh is a possibility (Marie?). A raise to about 270-300 on the flop to isolate Mervert would have been a more aggressive play if you were willing to risk the tournament at this point.

As mentioned by Art, nothing in your play suggested a set or str8. Slowplaying one of those with all of the draws available would have been asking for trouble. Mervert is getting 2-1 to call a suspect all-in, I'm guessing he showed you J9 and took the pot.

I consider those things sure, but looking at the price the pot would be laying me (nearly 3:1) and your actions I call figuring that I'll snap off a bluff like you played enough times to make the call profitable.

If you were to play a set or 2 pair this way and I called and was beat, I'd make a note "SUPER DONK" and continue on my merry way. Playing this board that way with one of those two hands is awful play.
